Have you heard of the World's First Night Safari?
Yes! It's here at Singapore!

After a hot and tiring day at the Zoo, you may wish to take a short walk to Night Safari, which is located just beside the Singapore Zoo.

Admission fee:
Adult S$22.00

Child (3 to 12 years old) S$11.00

Operating Hours:

7.30pm to 12mn daily

Restaurants and retail shops open from 6:00pm daily

Last admission is at 11.00pm

Come early and catch the cultural performances before you enter the Night Safari. The Bornean Tribal Performers are really impressive with their tribal dances, blowpipe and fire-eating performances. The shows are on next to the Bonger Burgers at 7 pm, 8 pm and 9 pm.

my groupmates!

enjoy the food there!

Similar to Singapore Zoo, Night Safari has tram rides too!

by taking the tram, you can see animals closed-up

Time: 7.30pm onwards
Price: Adult $10
Child $5

Along the way, there will be a guide on the tram to tell you more about our nocturnal animals in our Safari. Most of the animals are up and about - you’ll get to see many different deer species, the rhinoceros, the Malayan tigers, the capybara (also known as the water hog) that is the largest living rodent, the giant anteater, etc. On a good night, you’ll also get to hear the hyenas laughing, the golden jackals howling and the lions roaring.

As the rule of Night Safari states that there should not be flash lights, hence we did not manage to capture any photos of the animals there. However, I believe that seeing it with your own eyes will be much beautiful then photos.

Wish to explore the Safari by yourself?

Alight at the only mid-way stop and walk the Leopard Trail where you can get a closer look at the Malayan Civet, the porcupine, the leopards and the big-eyed tarsiers. You can board the tram after the walk and continue the rest of the ride. The other 2 walking trails, the Fishing Cat Trail and the Forest Giants Trail, can be reached from the main tram station. At the Fishing Cat Trail, you’ll get to see the mousedeer, the otters and even catch the Fishing Cat… fishing!

Not to forget, there is a great Safari Show at the Night Safari which is worthwhile to catch! It’s great entertainment. And if you are sitting in the first four rows, it promises to be an experience you will not forget.

After the whole trip at the Night Safari, you may wish to buy some souvenirs back too!

Safari Shop selling various plushes, T-shirts, tote bags, caps and a spectrum of exciting souvenirs featuring a whole jungle of wildlife
